Steinmann Institute works with several insurance companies and is an in-network provider for millions of people. In most cases, Steinmann Institute does not require a physician referral. Some insurers require referrals or may have additional requirements for certain psychiatric, therapeutic, or mental health care. All appointments are prioritized on the basis of psychiatric, neuropsychiatric/neuropsychological, and therapeutic needs.

Efficient Scheduling

In most cases, Steinmann Institute doctors provide both diagnosis and treatment within the same patient visit. Doctors usually can report diagnostic test results to patients one or two days after testing is completed.

The schedule of appointments for assessment, physician consultation, and treatment can often be compressed into a short period for traveling patients. This means less time away from home, less expense, and more efficient use of patients’ and family members’ time.

Your Initial Visit

Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early so that we can complete your records. Bring your medical insurance card, pertinent mental health and medical records, prior psychological test reports, and any rating scales or questionnaires given to you during your initial scheduling visit.

Canceling or Rescheduling Appointments

If for any reason you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel at least 24 business hours prior or missed appointment charges will be made.
